Crews at this year's Henley Boat Races gathered at the River and Rowing Museum for the traditional Challenge and Weigh-In which marks the start of race week.
The Cambridge Women's Blue Boat tipped the scales at an average of 75.8kg, more than 10kg per athlete heavier than their Oxford counterparts. But the Dark Blues, who are boating their lightest crew since records began, will be encouraged by the fact that the lighter crew has won the majority of recent encounters.
The weather on Henley Reach is set to remain unsettled for the rest of the week, but with only moderate rain the river level remains steady, and athletes and spectators can hopefully look forward to some spring sunshine at the weekend.
